They told me Jesus died
for my sin
I thought Oh,how
wonderful of him
What a gift
and for one so lost
I did not know truly
how much it cost.
Just living My life
not worrying about sin
There's no problem
Jesus is my friend
2.To my door
death came one day,
Not for me
he took my Son away,
I cried to the Lord
return my boy to me
And he gave me
Isaiah chapter 53
I said I believe your report
,help my unbelief
and he returned my Son
to my relief.
now I look at the cross
and it's not the same
3.From the view of a Father
I know his pain
But I cannot Imagine how
he let Jesus die
What great Love he has
for my Son and I.
And now in sin
I cannot remain
knowing it's cost
and all it's pain
My life I lay down
my cross I take
a living sacrifice
for the Gospels sake
To follow Jesus
I agree and let him live
his life in me.
